Kyan still loves his baby piano that he's had since he was tiny and kicking it in the crib.
Speaking of crib...now that he's been putting himself to sleep, bedtime and naptime are a breeze. He doesn't cry at all anymore when I lay him down. When he wakes up he's smiley and happy. I can't believe it took us over a year to figure that out.
He loves looking at his books. It is still one of his favorite things to do.
Bath time is getting funner. He LOVES taking a bath. Now he likes dunking his face in the water and thinks it's hilarious. We've also been practicing drinking from his sippy cup without the lid. So now he loves to use the bath cup to drink the bath water. Yuck. But good practice.
His second favorite toy upstairs is our phone and answering machine. We have it hidden (obviously not very well) behind our bedroom door because that's where the phone plug is. We have no table to put it on. I guess we should move it before he calls China and we have a ridiculous phone bill or something.
His most favorite toy upstairs is definitely the toilet paper (and the toilet). He will close himself in the bathroom (he likes his privacy) and unroll all the toilet paper. That's fine because we'll just pick up a piece to use when we go to the bathroom. But now he's into tearing the paper into teeny tiny pieces. He'll spend a good 20 or 30 minutes working on it. He also likes wrapping it around himself and stringing it around the entire upstairs.
He's so proud of himself. He's such a good, happy boy, and we are two really lucky parents.

Good thing you and Michael blogged, Papa was having serious withdrawals! He is much better now. Can't wait to see Kyan in just 5 more days! He has really changed in the last 3 months! We have got to see him more often in 09.

those were some great pictures Andrea! I love the toilet paper ones! That is too funny. Cal went throught that stage, and now that I am remembering, Carson did too. It does go away - so there's hope! We miss you guys....I love his room with the cute shelf at his level by the way. That's a good idea. Oh, I got Cal's shipment in yesterday, I haven't opened it yet, but will today and let you know that all is okay. Thank you for doing that! We'll be sending you your christmas soon - but you can't open it until Christmas! Love you!
The toilet paper is awesome!!! LOL - just wait until he learns to use it by himself. Right after we moved into our house - Noah overlfowed our toilet by using a "butt loofah" as Greg calls it. The poor kid counted out squares after that fiasco - oh the things we laugh at now!!
