Mimi's Visit

Mimi's here visiting for almost a week. We are having such a good time. This morning we went to church and then to eat at the Cracker Barrel. Here are a few pictures we took while we were waiting to be seated for lunch.
I think Kyan is almost bigger than Mimi. In just a few weeks he'll probably be holding her.

Kyan's First Birthday in Ponca

We had Kyan's first birthday celebration in Ponca last weekend. Kyan got to meet lots of new friends he'd never seen before. Here are some more pictures from the weekend.
This is Kyan with Caleb, my friend Amanda's son who is exactly 4 months younger than Kyan. Tony has a cool little bouncy ball that lights up when you throw it. All the kids go crazy over it.

Kyan finally got to meet his step-cousin Barrick who is a couple of months younger than him. Barrick is already an excellent walker. They had a good time beating on the glass together trying to get Petey's attention.

Kyan thought it was funny climbing on the couch and peeking over the back.

Until grandpa, grandma, and granny decided to join him. He doesn't like to share, I guess.

You don't need a party for granny to get hammered. It only takes a couple and she's dancing on the kitchen table. Glad we moved the birthday cake. My aunt Janet always has to challenge her to the beer bong. Go Granny!

And Kyan finally got to meet Parker who is only 2 days younger. He belongs to my friends Brant and Jill. Parker has an older brother so he tried to wrestle with Kyan but Ky didn't know what he was doing.

So they decided to read a book together instead...upside down.

The Birthday Cake

Kyan had his first birthday cake Sunday in Ponca. He had a long nap before the party but I think he was overwhelmed with so much going on all weekend that he was pooped out. He didn't eat any cake but he did mash his hands in it and of course get it all over himself. He did a good job.

Dad got pretty messy too. What a great dad. I'll post more pictures from his birthday weekend at grandma and grandpa's soon.

Kyan's been trying to imitate dad's bouncing the spongebob ball of the head move. He's getting pretty good at it now.

Father's Day

We got Kyan a push buggy on Father's Day. He thought he was pretty cool cruising around in it. We had to take him to the park so he could show off his sweet new ride.

Matt's new talent

Matt has many talents, but juggling dirty diapers? Who knew? He's gotten really good and thinking of joining the circus soon. Kyan thinks he's hilarious.

Spring Fling

That's us at ProCharger's Spring Fling a couple of weekends ago. Kyan enjoyed dipping his hands in the icy drink pool and checking out the chicks.
