Dance Like No One Is Watching

This is just a short post to show you this video that was sent to me by a fellow artist. It's one of the coolest things I've seen in quite a while. For 4 minutes, you forget about all the problems in the world. The back story is just as amazing and you can see it at http://www.karmatube.org/videos.php?id=729

REDRUM

We are ready for Halloween around here. This is a picture of Kyan in his Frankenstein sweat suit. I've been excited for it to get cold enough for him to wear it before Halloween is over. Not the greatest picture but it's all I got.

And this video is my son's disturbing reaction to his first short viewing of "The Shining." Normally his shows consist of Baby Einstein videos and that's it (I promise), but the other day he was napping and I came across The Shining (unedited and commercial free woohoo) and couldn't help myself. He woke up and we came downstairs right when my favorite part was on...when Wendy finally realizes that Jack is totally insane, of course. Kyan thought it was hilarious. Should I be worried?

Trip to Ponca

Kyan and I went to Ponca City for a visit earlier this week. Here is Granny teaching Kyan how to play the organ. He's really watching her to see how it's done.
Everyone squeezing in for a picture.
Granny is teaching Kyan about farm animals.
Kyan has fun with Tony flying around on his shoulder.

I got to meet up with some of the girls for dinner one night at Enriques...yum...and without Kyan even.
It was nice to see everyone again, even though it went by fast. It always does. Hopefully we'll be able to make another trip soon.

Park and Reading

This is Kyan's new favorite reading spot. He unfolds his couch and props up his books on the end.

We went to our new fun park last weekend and took a few pictures. I love this picture of Kyan and Matt.
Wow. I'm squatting like Kyan does. I didn't even know I could do it.
He's showing me a leaf he found on the ground that he had to carry with him all over the place.
