Spider Bite
Poor Matt got a nasty spider bite...three bites actually. He must be tasty. He went to the doctor today and the doc says it's from a brown recluse. We have seen lots of spiders all around the house lately. Scary. Matt is really sore. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and help him to feel better soon.

wow!!! That is scary! Have you sprayed your house yet this spring for insects? We haven't yet, but need to. When Wade was in elementary school (I think or maybe like 6th gradeish)...he got bit by a brown recluse too and it was so bad that they had to scrape it out and he has a permanent scar/indention in his shin now. He said it was horrible and so painful. So he can relate. That is dangerous so I'm so glad that you guys didn't wait and had Matt go in to the doctor. I'm REALLY glad it wasn't little Kyan!! I remember the other day you had caught a spider in the bathtub, do you think it's the same type spider?
That is so crazy! I am so glad you went to the doctor, it just looks painful. Well the really bad thing is I am sure this isn't going to help Andrea with her fear of insects. I have never even seen a brown recluse and I live in Houston, I hope I never see one. I have seen my share of snakes though!
