Here is Kyan at a birthday party a few weeks ago. He just liked to lay down in the bouncy houses while all the kids jumped around him.
Here he is pointing and saying "camera."
Kyan has totally blown my mind lately with his new friend. He has gotten together a few times with this little boy and interacted in a way that I've never seen Kyan interact with another child before. They share toys, follow each other around, imitate each other. Kyan really watches him and initiates play with him. It is amazing for us to watch. They played together Saturday night. When I opened the door and Kyan saw who it was he became so excited that he danced around squealing. When it was time for his friend to leave I told Kyan to "say bye bye." Kyan ran into the kitchen, hid in a corner, and said with a sad voice, "No thank you." It was so sweet. Here they are jamming out on the piano together. I'm so excited for this new connection.

So when did Kyan start giving piano lessons? Maybe he can teach me!

I hope Kyan and his friend get to play often, it is so encouraging and exciting to see Kyan really totally interacting with a buddy! thanks for sharing this and just for keeping up up to date, it makes for a much happier mimi and especially PaPa! His whole being depends on keeping up with the boys via blog!
