New Random Pics and More Deana Rose Farm

I haven't updated in awhile. Oops...sorry Halbert. There are a few random pictures from the past month. Remember those old, black and white photos of kids sitting in rocking chairs? This picture made me think of that...except for the cord hanging down in back, anyway.

Here is Kyan taking a bath. He loves sucking the water out of the wash clothes. Apparently Matt did too at this age. Kyan really likes to take a wet wash cloth, put it over his face, and spin in the middle of the living room floor.
Kyan is kissing his new Mickey Mouse that my dad brought him from Disney World. He has actually developed a real attachment to this toy. It is the first toy ever that he wants to sleep in bed with. We are excited about that.

We went to Deana Rose again yesterday for awhile. Kyan sat on the bench in front of the waterfall for about 2 seconds...long enough to get one picture.

He liked playing on the playground and crawling through the tunnels.

I got a great idea from a fellow Son Rise mom to use toy noses and masks for promoting extra eye contact. It works really well. Here is my little Super Man and Matt, the clown (fitting, I know). Kyan loves this nose the best...it squeaks.

And we thought we were done with cats

Not too many posts ago I was super excited that Kyan regained his spatial awareness and began climbing. Don't get me wrong, I'm still very happy about that. Lately it just feels like no place is safe anymore. It's like we have a cat again. At least Kyan doesn't leave behind litter pieces and throw up hairballs every five minutes.
He now regularly brushes his teeth with all the toothbrushes. I won't tell you what he did with Matt's toothbrush (J/K).
A nice foot soak in the sink.

Okay, maybe I'm not the best influence either.

"I want tunnel"

Here is Kyan saying his first three word sentence. I started saying it yesterday when we were playing with the tunnel, and he's already saying "I want tunnel" on his own. I'm so proud! He is so smart. I learned some good stuff last week.
