House Updates

The house is really going up fast. The first floor is pretty much framed. Here are the stairs leading up to the second floor. Past the stairs is the garage.

This is our dining room taken from standing in the kitchen. A half bath will be directly ahead and then there's the back part of the garage.

Fayetteville Visit

We were able to go to Fayetteville last weekend to visit Matt's sister and family. On Saturday we went to Carson's basketball game, and Kyan had a great time there. I couldn't get any good shots of Carson playing. Those boys are too fast for my little camera.

He found a basketball on the bleachers that he played with while watching the girls on the court next to Carson's game.

After the game he got to run all over the court. It was fun.

We had a wonderful weekend. Thanks Michael and Wade for having us. We need to do this more often.

It's UP!

We drove by the house over the weekend, and there's actually a house coming up there. Sunday morning after church there were two guys putting up the front. Later that afternoon we drove back over with our camera. The two guys were just leaving and they had put up a back too! Can't believe they can work so fast. There are windows and everything!

How Does A Dinosaur Say Goodnight?

I wanted to share this video of Kyan and I reading his current favorite book. We do turn taking, where he fills in blanks in the story. I wish I knew how to put words on the screen so you knew what he was saying. You might have to let it buffer (or whatever) before you let it play if it keeps getting stuck.

Counting

Here's a video of Kyan counting his numbers. He can count to thirteen, but these little foam numbers only go to 9.
